What Members are Saying about the Branding Campaign

Becoming branded like the most recognizable names in the world takes time, but the benefits far outweigh the expense. Your patients get better care, practice enjoys growth and dentistry will all see a new respect. A few LVI Branding Campaign Members tell their stories here.

We have already seen our first Vogue magazine patient. When she originally called she stated "I saw your ad in Vogue." My team was so excited! She is coming in for her second restorative visit next week. The marketing works so keep up the great work!

I aired the commercial in June of this year and I plan to run it again this fall. I am feeling the branding effect from comments from patients seeking my expertise in cosmetic dentistry because it is "well-known" that I am a local expert. I am a believer. When am I due to sign on again?

I wanted to take a moment and share with you how pleased I am with our marketing (branding) campaign.

As you will recall, I was the first branding member to have the new commercial tagged. You were kind enough to get it done to coincide with my own local marketing efforts. We received the commercial from you and immediately got it on air in our local cable system. I have a contract that runs the spot five times daily and have been very pleased with the results.

I have been a branding campaign member for over two years and only had one hit during that time. I stuck with the campaign as I was advised to do and now I am getting the response that I desired. Thanks to the office commercial, the national campaign, the local radio spots, I have been getting a good number of telephone calls that we have converted into consultations.

I am finally getting the local exposure that I have never been able to achieve before. But more importantly, that exposure is being linked into the national campaign in a very coordinated manner. It seems to give me an automatic credibility with my guests during the consultation and examination, and that is worth every penny that I have spent on the campaign.

I have tried for years to market my practice. I am a dentist, not an advertising executive and my attempts were unproductive. It is a real benefit to have you and B2D Marketing as a resource. I can now concentrate on what I do best which is dentistry. The materials that have been provided for me to use with my guests, the print, radio and television marketing, and the linking with LVI have finally helped me to get the return of my investment in becoming an LVI doctor. I can be highly trained, but without exposure, that training remains unused.

I recently closed a full mouth case last week. It was the first one that was directly linked to the marketing campaign. I have another that I fully expect to close very soon. Again, this came from the branding campaign. If the campaign is effective and productive here in rural South Carolina, it will work anywhere.

Again, thank you and B2D Marketing for all your marketing efforts.

Respectfully,
CE Mohler, DDS

I have a 48 year old patient who had chronic headaches for 15 years. After a while the headaches were joined by TMJ pain, shoulder pain, back pain and numbness in her right arm. She sought relief from many physicians, chiropractors, and dentists over the years but the pain was getting worse. At the time that I first saw her she was seeing a chiropractor three days a week for her back, shoulder, neck, TMJ, and headache pains. She was also receiving physical therapy treatment two days a week for the numbness and pain in her right arm and shoulder. She was taking many medications along with all of this to try to cope with the pain while working and raising children.

Other dentists had tried to treat her TMJ problems with various “bite splints” but they did not relieve her TMJ pain. She had come to me because she was seeking an LVI dentist. She had obtained my name through the LVI ads on television at the time.

I had explained the neuromuscular treatment of relaxing the muscles and finding where the muscles wanted to bite instead of fighting with her bite that was worn down and she even had some missing teeth. I made her a neuromuscular orthotic appliance and asked her to come back the next week to check on her.

When she came back the next week I asked how the orthotic was feeling since it does bother some people for a while until they get used to it. She said she had been wearing it all the time and it felt fine. I was concerned about her chiropractor, as he may have felt I was stepping on his territory and ongoing treatment. I asked her if her chiropractor had anything to say about what I was doing. At this point she started to cry! As a man, I wanted to run since we men just can’t take women crying. But, she quickly waved her hand and said that all was ok to just wait a minute. After a few minutes she explained to me that she just realized that she had not felt the need to see her chiropractor since she had been wearing the orthotic. She said her TMJ pain was gone. She had no headaches. Her neck and back pain was gone. Even her numbness in her shoulder and right arm was gone and felt normal.

There has been a delay in her treatment due to family matters. But, she has maintained this good state of health for 2 years now and is preparing for the next phase of her treatment to move her own teeth into a healthy position that the muscles will not complain about.

My life as a dentist has changed for the better by my training at LVI. Like many dentists I thought I knew how to do cosmetic dentistry. What I did not know was that LVI cosmetic dentistry is different in a basic philosophy of providing the best treatment for a patient – even if it involves dentures!

Some, through a book, might learn the physical cosmetic treatment of a smile. Others will require a lecture or even a workshop to learn some techniques. LVI does the ultimate by having live patient training – similar to dental school only with more direct supervision. This could be good enough for what I wanted to learn. I wanted to learn how to do my cosmetic work better.

What I did not realize I would learn is a better philosophy of caring for patients. What I was prepared for was that my patients would perceive this better philosophy and now I receive many more “thank you doc” statements from patients and I have many thank you letters. These statements and letters are not necessarily about a great cosmetic smile, but rather just the caring they are feeling. While LVI and the dentists who training there might get some derogatory comments by those who have never gone there from time to time, I have notice many of my fellow local dentists treat me with more respect than before. Some have come in for treatment and many ask my opinion on cosmetic, reconstruction or TMD issues.

I have cut back my clinic days at my office and still produce twice as much as I did before LVI training. It is hard to describe the camaraderie that exists between LVI trained dentists. Each one is so helpful to one another as well as other dentists who are open to learning something new. LVI has made dentistry interesting and even exciting to me. I have said often that if dental schools were run like LVI, the dental schools would never want for alumni support.

I encourage every dentist to experience LVI and find a new way of doing cosmetic reconstruction dentistry and a new appreciation for our dental profession.

Prior to the LVI experience I had 18 employees, an associate doctor and a lot of stress. LVI taught me how to do excellent dentistry with less stress and be more profitable. Busyness doesn’t necessarily equate to more profit. I’m more profitable. I have more time for my family and golf. I love dentistry – no burnout here.
